The plans

Answer first: three plans, from $1,999 per month, or $1,499 per month on annual billing.

Plan Month-to-month Billed annually What it covers

The initial 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses, separate from these plans.

What each plan looks like for a painter

Answer first: match the plan to the number of channels you need, not to your ambitions.

Growth: one strong channel, done properly

Suits an owner-operator or small company with one or two crews. A typical Growth plan for a painter focuses on local search and Google Business Profile, plus either a seasonal ad campaign or estimate follow-up, whichever is the weaker link.

Elite: several channels, timed to the season

Suits companies with several crews that want both residential and some commercial work. Elite usually combines local search, seasonal ads and follow-up, and the 50% website discount makes a portfolio website rebuild affordable at the same time.

Enterprise: a team behind your marketing

Suits larger painting companies running several product lines and regions, or moving seriously into strata and commercial work. The included website design and build removes a large one-time cost.

What drives the cost of marketing a painting company

Answer first: the number of services you sell, the number of areas you cover, and how competitive those areas are.

  • Product lines: a company selling interiors, exteriors, cabinets and strata needs more pages, campaigns and follow-up paths than one doing interiors only.
  • Service area: each additional city or region adds pages, ad targeting and reporting.
  • Competition: a dense metro market usually needs more content and higher ad budgets than a smaller town.
  • Season shape: a short, intense exterior season can need more work packed into a few months.
  • Starting point: a company with a sound website and a strong Google profile needs less set-up than one starting from nothing.

A worked affordability check

Before choosing a plan, compare its annual cost with what it must produce.

Say you choose Growth on annual billing: $1,499 × 12 = $17,988, plus your province's GST/HST. If your average job is $5,000 at a 35% gross margin, each job earns about $1,750 in gross profit. You would need roughly 10 to 11 additional signed jobs a year, before ad spend, just to cover the plan. If you sign 3 in 10 estimates, that means around 35 extra estimates a year.

If that looks easy for your market, the plan is probably sensible. If it looks like a stretch, start with what you can do yourself using our guides, and talk to us later. The estimate maths guide has the full worksheet.

Terms, in plain words

  • Month-to-month, no long-term contract; cancel with 30 days' notice.
  • Annual billing is optional and discounted.
  • Prices in CAD; plus GST/HST by province (GST and QST in Quebec).
  • Ownership: your website, domain, Google Business Profile and ad accounts belong to your company.
  • Anything else, including how ad spend is handled and any project work outside a plan, is confirmed in writing in your proposal.

We don't promise rankings or lead counts at any price. We do commit to plain monthly reporting on estimates booked and jobs signed. See results from our HVAC work for what the method has produced, and the contact page to start a conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Every plan runs month to month, and 30 days' notice ends it. Annual billing is optional and lowers the monthly price.

Is ad spend included in the plan price?

Plan fees cover our work. How ad spend is paid and billed is set out in writing in your proposal, so you know exactly what goes to the ad platforms and what goes to us.

Do prices include sales tax?

No. Painting plans are priced in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec).

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get the first 30-minute consultation free. It sits apart from the paid plans and carries no obligation.

Can a one-crew painter afford this?

Sometimes. Run the estimate maths first. If a plan costs more than the gross profit it would need to generate in your market, we will say so and suggest what to do yourself instead.
